Programs in 1999

Every year is important for CWDS since its establishment in 1991 and CWDS always endeavors to stretch out its programs, which are important for the development of the community, its area and the country. The focus in socio-economic development program is towards the household economic benefits to the participating beneficiaries in the project area in Nuwakot district. Community awareness/strengthening, education, health, saving/credit and sustainable farming are the associated activities while promoting Income Generating activities for immediate economic benefits. CWDS has stretched its coverage to other geographical areas as well specially for the promotion of sustainable farming practices through the application of EM technology. This aspect of the activity is being implemented through the collaborating NGOs and agencies at the national level in different parts of the country through program implementation, training and extension activities.
